Lord

as we face our day to day, let us all realize that we are nothing without you.  When we try to do things on our own strength, it always seems that life is much tougher than without you.

When we try to do things with our earthly strength we tend to fail miserably and struggle against the forces that are here on earth.

But when we come to you and ask you for your strength to be filled up in our hearts throughout our day, life seems to be much more doable.

So Lord, be our strength today!  Let your glory shine through our day in touch whoever that we come across.  Let them see that we are nothing without you.
