Every Knee Shall Bow Before Jesus and Make an Account

The Word of God Says EVERYONE Shall Bow Before Jesus and Confess Him as LORD

Every Knee Shall Bow Before JesusOne Day you and I will have to bow to our Lord Jesus Christ.  Everyone Shall bow before our Lord. Wheather you are a Christian, Muslim, Buddist, Jehovah Witness, Atheist, Agnostic as well as every other religion and non religion people. You will have to take account for your life. What choices you made and what directions you took.

This is not for a select few, as the Word of God says EVERYONE.

Let’s Look to the scriptures from the Living Bible for some insights into this

In Isaiah 45:23 from the Living Bible it says:

Let all the world look to me for salvation! For I am God; there is no other. I have sworn by myself and I will never go back on my word, for it is true—that EVERY kneww in all the WORLD shall bow to me, and every toungue shall swear allegiance to my name.

In Ezekiel 21:7 from the living bible:

When they ask you why, tell them : Because of the fearsome news that God has given me. When it comes true, the boldest heart will melt with fear, and all strength will disappear. Every spirit will faint; strong knees will tremble and become as weak as water. And the Lord God says YOUR doom is on the way; my judgements will be fulfilled!

Romans 14:11 From the Living Bible

For it is Written, “As I live,” Says the Lord, “every knee shall bow to me and every tongue confess to God.” Yes, each of us will give an account of himself to God.

Philippians 2:9-11 From the Living Bible

Yes it was because of all of this that God raised him up to the heights of heaven and gave him a name which is above every other name, that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

The Scriptures above make something very clear. You and I will fall flat on our faces before Jesus Christ and will will not only account for our lives but we shall confess with our tongue that JESUS CHRIST IS LORD.

He is the king of kings…the Lord of Lords…The one above every other. He is Jesus Christ the Son of God. Our Mediator

He is the one you will face…he is the Judge and Jury on where you will spend the rest of eternity in. He is the one that will see through directly to your heart and see what you are about.

The Deceit of Riches and The Parable of The Seed

By sam · Comments (1)

The Word of God Online Scripture from The Living Bible

The Deceit of Riches and The Parable of The SeedIn today’s world, money is a big deal. Even today, in May of 2011 we hear it in our daily conversations about how the price of Gas seems to rise daily. I have found myself commenting often of how the gas prices are rising and seem to be out of control. I have a job that is 60 miles 1 way and it is a part of my income that I have watched get eaten away due to the expense of gas.

Money is a driving force that allows us to purchase many things and be a part of this world. I don’t think it is any more prevelant than in the United States. We are the model that many countries are looking to in which they want to find “freedom” and “democracy”. We have so much in the United States. I was just commenting to a friend at how I am amazed at how, even today, with the economy being where it is at, that the sports stadiums are all full. If you are not from the States, all I can say is it is really expensive to go to our pro sports events here in the U.S. I mention this because I am a big sports fan and love watching various sports. These games can cost upwards of $200.00 for a single ticket to these events. The players themselves are making millions of dollars a year to throw a ball in a hoop or hit a baseball out of the park.

Money in our society brings status..shows others we are living the good life. Today, the automoblile has become the status symbol of money for the middle class. What we drive helps define who we are.

Boats, trips, Cars, houses, computers, Iphones, Ipads and much much more are the pursuit of so called happiness here in the United States. All our advertisements center around the gathering of goods…buying…consuming…one uping your friend or neighbor, having the latest and greatest gadget, a bigger house, a newer car and on an on it goes. It is really something to watch and you can look to your own bible for the answers to your own faith and where you may find yourself.

The Lure is very strong to pursue money. Unfortunately, we are constantly bombarded by messages that are showing us the importance of money and the pursuiant of things, stuff…more stuff.

I am not immune to this. I may be a Christian, and Jesus is my Savior, and my ticket to heaven may be punched, but I am not immune to the stranglehold of today’s ever non stop chasing of the mightly dollar.

Let’s turn to the Word of God now and see what Jesus said about this and the posture of our heart.

In Matthew 13 starting in Verse 3, Jesus relates a parable and also explains it.

From the Living Bible “ A Farmer was sowing grain in his fields. As he scattered the seed across the ground some fell besise the path, and the birds came and ate it.

And some fell on rocky soil where there was little depth of earth; the plants sprung up quickly enough in the shallow soil, but the hot sun soon scorched them and theyh withered and died, for they had so litlle root. Other seeds fell among the tender blades. But some fell on good soil, and produced a crop that was thrirty, sixty, and even a hundred times as much as he had planted, if you have ears,  listen!”

Some of the parables that Jesus told, are left for you an I to sort of read between the lines and figure out what he was trying to tell us. But this parable was fully explained just a few verses later starting in Verse 18.

“Now here is the explaniation of the story I told about the farmer planting grain: The hard path where some of the seeds fell represent the heart of a person who hears the Good News about the Kingdom and doesn’t understand it; then Satan comes and snatches away the seeds from his heart. The Shallow rocky soil represents the heart of a man who hears the messags and recieves it with real joy, but he doesn’t have much depth in his life, and the seeds don’t root very deeply, and after a while when trouble comes, or persecution begins because of his beliefs, his enthusiasm fades, and he drops out. The ground covered with thistles represents a man who hears the message, but the cares of this life and his longing for money choke out God’s Word, and he does less and less for God. The good ground represents the heart of a man who listens to the message and understands it and goes out and brings thirty, sixty, or even a hundred others into the Kingdom.”

In the above passage we get a clear answer to the parable as Jesus fully explains it to the disciples.

It’s interesting to note how applicable the Bible is and how relevent it is even to this day. Jesus Said these things over 2000 years ago. But it is just as relevant today, if not more so, then it was 2000 years ago.

The deciet of Riches is very apparent today. Many are lured by it. Jesus knew it. He talked about Money a lot in the bible and knew this was an area of the heart that was going to be greatly affected and lured by the love of money.

Many people mis-quote that line and say that money is the root of all evil. This is not true. There were many blessed and wealthy men in the Bible. God does not have a problem with you and I having money. He wants the Man of God to be fruitful in many areas. When we have the right heart, money will just be a tool to bring more people into the Kingdom of God. IT will be used to bless, not to consume. If God blesses your life financially it will ONLY be at a time when your heart is right with God. He knows the power that money can weild in the right and wrong hands. He is not going to give you something that will destroy you. That is Not the plans he has for you and I. In Jeremiah 29:11 it says “ For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a Hope.

So why would God allow you to have wealth if he knew you were going to use it to consume for yourself and not for the Kingdom. We have an awesome God who wants to bless you and I in all ways, but not at the cost of our faith becoming like that which Jesus talked about in the Parable above. Where the man hears the messages, but the cares of this life and the longing for money take over and move you away from God. Errr…this is not what God wants. And today more then ever we see the endless pursuit of people and money.

IT is a LIE…it is a BIG FAT LIE from Satan himself. Don’t fall for it..

Only Jesus is all we need

As we move closer to Christmas and the hustle and bustle of the season descends upon you, stop and remember the love and mercy that was poured out on the cross.

In our commercialization of Christmas it pains my heart to see the focus for most people in this season.

I have noticed a trend over the last few years where people are lining up on Thanksgiving in front of the store that has the cheapest and most desired gift for themselves. They are missing time with their family so they can buy the amazing laptop deal at best buy, or the 40 inch TV from Walmart.

They trade stuff for the thing that really matters the most–relationships.

Jesus came to open the door to God and to have a relationship with him

What are we doing?

Welcome to the Word of God Online

Scripture readings from the living Bible

Isaiah 57:15

the high and lofty one who inhabits eternity, the holy one, says this: I live in that high and holy place where those with contrite, humble spirits dwell; and I refresh the humble and give new courage to those with repentant hearts.

Reaching Out For A Humbe HeartDiscovering God’s daily agenda by Henry and Richard Blackaby ..

It’s the miracle of the incarnation! Our holy God took on human flesh in the form of Jesus to pay the price for our sin. So perhaps it’s no surprise to read here in Isaiah that God reaches down from his throne to people who are humble in heart.

Stir into flame the Strength and boldness that is in you

Word of God Online Presents the Living Bible and 2nd Timothy

Stir into flame the Strength and boldness that is in you

Second Timothy

From: Paul, Jesus Christ missionary, sent out by God to tell men and women everywhere about the eternal life he has promised them through faith in Jesus Christ.

To: Timothy, my dear son. May God the father and Jesus Christ our Lord shower you with his kindness, mercy and peace.

How I thank God for you, Timothy. I pray for you every day, and many times doing the long nights I begged my God to bless you richly. He is my father’s God, and mine, and my only purpose in life is to please him.

However long to see you again. How happy I would be, for I remember your tears as he left each other.

I know how much you trust the Lord, just as your mother, Eunice and your grandmother Lois do; and I feel sure you are still trusting him as much as ever.

This being so, I want to remind you to stir into flame the strength and boldness that is in you, that entered into you when I laid my hands upon your head and blessed you. for the Holy Spirit, God’s gift, does not want you to be afraid of people, but to be wise and strong, and to love them and enjoy being with them. If you will stir up this inner power, you will never be afraid to tell others about our Lord, or to let them know that I am your friend even though I am here in jail for Christ sake. You will be ready to suffer with me for the Lord, for he will give you strength and suffering.

It is he who saved us and chose us for his holy work, not because we deserved it but because that was his plan long before the world began – to show his love and kindness to us through Christ. And now he has made all this plane to us by the coming of our Savior Jesus Christ, who broke the power of death and showed us the way of everlasting life through trusting him. And God has chosen me to be his missionary, to preach to the Gentiles and teach them.

That is why I am suffering here in jail and I’m certainly not ashamed of it, for I know the one in whom I trust, and I am sure that he is able to safely guard all that I have given him until the day of his return.

Hold tightly to the pattern of truth I taught you, especially concerning the faith and love Christ Jesus offers you. Guard well the splendid, God-given ability you received as a gift from the Holy Spirit lives within you.

As you know, all the Christians who came here from Asia have deserted me; even Phygellus and Hermogenes are gone. May the Lord bless Onesiphorus and all his family, because he visited me and encouraged me often. His visits revived me like a breath of fresh air, and he was never ashamed of my being in jail. In fact, when he came to Rome he searched everywhere trying to find me, and finally did. May the Lord give him a special blessing at the day of Christ return. And you know better than I can tell you how much he helped me at Ephesus.

What do you want me to do?

What do you want me to do?

Acts chapter 9 from the living Bible… Paul’s conversion

But Paul, threatening with every breath and eager to destroy every Christian, went to the high priest in Jerusalem. He requested a letter addressed to synagogues in Damascus, requiring their cooperation in the persecution of any believers he found there, both men and women, so that he could bring them in chains to Jerusalem.

As he was nearing Damascus on this mission, suddenly a brilliant light from heaven flashed down on him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, “Paul! Paul! Why are you persecuting me?”

“Who is speaking, sir?” Paul asked.
