Please how can i be a full born again christian
Hi Samuel, From another Samuel…
First I want to say how happy I am to hear you say this…You have already confessed to God that you desire him just by publically posting you desire here….
You will want to do just a sincere simple prayer in which you call out to the Lord. Ask the Lord for forgiveness of your sins. You must believe that Jesus died for YOU. Tell God that you believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that he died on the cross for you. That you believe that Jesus, after 3 days rose from the Dead and now resides with God in heaven. God gave his ONLY son for you…God will forgive you of all your sins, no matter WHAT YOU have done. Ask him to forgive you and give you a new heart and mind that is ready for his will not yours. Commit to God that his will is the will you want in your life, not yours.
If you commit your life to Jesus, you will be spiritually born again.
Here is the prayer that someone we follow closely recommends:
God I believe that you love me..and sent Jesus Christ your son, into this world, to die, and to pay the penlty for my sin. I acknowledge that I am a sinner, and I have failed you in many ways. I know that I stand in need of your forgiveness, right now, by faith, I repent of my sin. I turn from the pattern of living that says “You don’t matter God!” … I confess all the wrong that I have done, and I embrace Jesus Christ By Faith as the ONLY basis for forgiveness. I am not trying to earn your favor. I am not trying to work my way into heaven anymore.
Lord, I thank you for the promise that as many that receive you, to those you give the authority to be called the Children of God, to those who believe in your name. (See John 1:12)
I Thank you lord in this moment of faith, for allowing me to make the choice to trust in Christ alone. Thank you that in Jesus Name I can pray. Amen
