The Healing Miracles of Jesus are hear and now
I did not get to my daily scripture reading today, but I do have some amazing information to share with you about my week-end and what I see as a mountain top experience.
For 3 years I have been studing Smith Wigglesworth and have been amazed by this mans life and ability to walk in the full authority of Christ and heal many people.
This has been a bit of a stumbling block for me, and an area of disbelief at times. Not disbelief in the power of Jesus, but in the fact that is the healing miracles of Jesus alive and well today?
With so much sickness around us and cancer claiming millions of lives each year, I have questioned the impact of us christians laying hands on the sick and healing them.
There is no question that Smith Wigglesworth was a man who walked and believed fully without question that when he called upon the name of Jesus, healing was going to take place.
This past week-end God was working overtime at a Christian leadership seminar put on by our Pastor Phil Strout. I am so fortunate to be under this wonderful man of God who has walked the walk. This past week-end he was totally on fire and delivered some of the finest teaching and inspiration around leadership that I have ever heard or read. It was really amazing to be a part of.
I left Saturday’s day long seminar with a growing energy but also alot to process….
On Sunday at Church, God Showed up in a huge way.
Our church had about 800 people in the 10:30 service and something happened during the worship time when the band was playing. God broke into our service and met many of us there. Many people were weeping and worshiping and totally overcome by the presence of the Lord. My wife was singing in the Choir and a good friend was also in the choir. I was worshipping next to his wife while the music played on.
After the first song, the woman next to me, my friend Elaine, was in pain. She has suffered from Fiber Myalsia most of her adult life and I have never seen her stand through a whole worship set, as usually the pain kicks in and she sits. After the first song, I noticed she was in pain. I laid my hands on her and prayed. I prayed like Smith Wigglesworth and completley believed that Jesus would quicken her body and allow her to continue worshiping and be able to stand.
She stood for the entire worship set that went on much longer than normal and many of us, including myself were weeping. It was truely amazing and as the worship came to an end, I wished it would continue for hours. Elaine knew it was the healing power of Jesus that had given her strength to stand. It was wonderful and strengthen my spirit and it was very encouraging to see this healing power exercised in this way.
The Lord has really been working double time with me and my faith has grown leaps and bounds over the past week. I am very hungry for more, more of the Lord, more of what God has in store.
While many in the world are fearing, I am at peace and encourage that there are greater things to be done.
This site has visitors from all over the world and I know inside that the internet IS the vehicle to bring the Good News to everyone.
There was another healing today of my wife who has been stricken by a long nasty cold. Last night we were in the hot tub for 2 hours and for about 20 minutes we prayed and I prayed in the name of Jesus to lift the cold off of my wife.
Today she was much better and knew that Jesus had come in and washed away the terrible cold she had been dealing with.
We need to believe…
We need to all step up and realize that the healing miracle of Jesus are for all who believe and are willing to lay hands on the sick and KNOW that we can be the vessels that God has foretold in his word, that we can heal others if we only believe.
