Scripture verse of the day—2 John 7
Watch out for the false teachers – and there are many of them around—who don’t believe that Jesus Christ came to earth as a human being with a body like ours. Such people are against the truth and against Christ.

My little children, I am telling you this so that you will stay away from sin. But if you sin, there is someone to plead for you before the father. His name is Jesus Christ, the one who is all that is good and pleases God completely. He is the one who took God’s wrath against our sins upon himself, and brought us into fellowship with God; and he is the forgiveness for our sins, and not only ours but all the worlds.
And how can we be sure that we belong to him? By looking within ourselves: are we really trying to do what he wants us to do?
Someone may say, “I am a Christian; I am on my way to heaven; I belong to Christ.” But if he doesn’t do what Christ tells him to, he is a liar. But those who do what Christ tells them to will learn to love God more and more. That is the way to know whether or not you are a Christian. Anyone who says he is a Christian should live as Christ did.
Dear brothers, I’m not writing out a new rule for you to obey, for it is an old one you have always had, right from the start. You have heard it all before. Yet it is always new, and it works for you just as it did for Christ; and as we obey this commandment, to love one another, the darkness in our lives disappears and the new light of life in Christ shines in.
Anyone who says he is walking in the light of Christ but hates his brother Christian is still in darkness.
But whoever loves his brother Christian is “walking in the light” and can see his way without stumbling around in darkness and sin.
For he who hates his Christian brother is wandering around in spiritual darkness and doesn’t know where he is going, and the darkness has made him blind so that he cannot see the way.
I am writing these things to all of you, my little children, because your sins have been forgiven in the name of Jesus our Savior. I’m saying these things to you older men because you really know Christ, the one who has been alive from the beginning. And you young men, I’m talking to you because you have won your battle with Satan. And I’m writing to you younger boys and girls because you, too, have learned to know God our father.
And so I say to you fathers who know the eternal God, and to you young men who are strong, with God’s Word in your hearts, and have won your struggle against Satan: stop loving this evil world and all that it offers you, for when you love these things you show that you do not really love God. For all these worldly things, these evil desires – the craze for sex, the ambition to buy everything that appeals to you, and the pride that comes from wealth and importance – these are not from God. They are from the evil world itself. And this world is fading away, and these evil, forbidden things will go with it, but whoever keeps doing the will of God will live forever.
Dear children, this world’s last hour has come. You heard about the Antichrist is coming – the one who is against Christ – and already many such persons have appeared. This makes us all the more certain that the end of the world is near. These “against – Christ” used to be members of our churches, but they never really belonged to us or else they would have stayed. When they left us it proved that they were not of us at all.
But you are not like that, for the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you know the truth. So I am not writing to you as to those who need to know the truth, but I warn you if such as those who can discern the difference between true and false.
And who is the greatest liar? The one who says that Jesus is not Christ. Such a person is antichrist, for he does not believe in God the father and his son. For a person who doesn’t believe in Christ, God’s son, can’t have God the father either. But he who has Christ, God’s son, has God the father also.
So keep on believing what you have been taught from the beginning. If you do, you will always be in close fellowship with both God the father and his son. And he himself has promised us this; eternal life.
These remarks of mine about the Antichrist are pointed at those who would dearly love to blindfold you can lead you astray. But you have received the Holy Spirit and he lives within you, in your hearts, so that you don’t need anyone to teach you what is right. For he teaches you all things, and he is the truth, and no liar; and so, just as he has said, you must live in Christ, never to depart from him.
And now, my little children, staying happy fellowship with the Lord so that when he comes you will be sure that all is well, and will not have to be ashamed and shrink back from meeting him. Since we know that God is always good and does only right, we may rightly assume that all those who do right are his children.

There is a day coming that was predicted in the Bible long ago. There will be a great man who rises up here on earth that many are going to follow. That man will be directly against the word of God. He will perform miracles, he will mesmerize the crowds, and he will pull in weak Christians.
This man will be the Antichrist. It is his plan to take as many of you to hell as he can. He will be the master of the false teachers, and all those who are not walking with Christ will look to him for help and hope. He will bring together many of the false religions we see now that do not speak the truth. I am sure that sites like the word of God online will be removed.
I believe this day is coming soon when we will see the rise of the Antichrist. When that day comes we know that the final day when Christ comes back is at hand.
One of the difficult things that will occur when the rise of the Antichrist happens will be dealing with the persecution that will come against all Christians who believe in the word of God and who believe the truth.
It’s interesting to note that if you know the Bible, then you know that what God has laid out in predicted in the Bible has all come true. The problem is that many people do not understand or know the Bible so they will be misled down a path that will take them to hell. So I’m here today and I plead with you to dive headfirst into the Bible and build or continue to grow your relationship with Jesus. As you accept Christ into your life, Jesus promised to send the Holy Spirit, to help guide you into the truth. The Holy Spirit is amazing and will keep you from slipping off the path.
You cannot split up pieces of the Bible and claim that you are following them, but in the same breath you toss away what you don’t like in the Bible. The word of God, the Bible has been given to us so that we may find the truth and live forever.
If you are strong with the Lord, and you are walking with him daily, your mind, heart, and soul will be prepared for what is to come. It is not really too fun to look forward to the persecution that is going to come our way, but we must hold fast to the word of God and the truth. Now is the time the pair your heart, mind, and soul for the day that is going to come soon.
It is God’s love, and heart, that desires everyone of you to know the truth and to become his child, and to call upon him as your father. In the Bible it says that many will fall away from the truth in the final days. This is sad for me to think about. I can only imagine how God feels as he looks down upon his creation in sees the choices that people make that will lead them to their own destruction.
God gave us free will to choose. God will not force you to love him. The kind of love that God has is pure and holy. This love that God has is beyond any kind of love that we have experienced here in our relationships. It is a love that is full of Grace and mercy. It is a love that forgives. It is a love that does not keep score, that does not manipulate, and does not hold the past against us. Jesus came for you and me. Jesus came to set us free from the chains of this world.
So you have a choice to make. I cannot make this choice for you. But I can tell you that there is tremendous freedom in Christ. I can tell you that the love he has for you is unlike any other love. I can tell you, that there is a better way. I can tell you that if you’re willing to lay your burdens down at the foot of the cross, Jesus will meet you there and carry your load for you.
