What will the future bring? Will the world be better or worse tomorrow and what will our own personal future be like?
These are questions that certainly interest many people. This is why people read horoscopes or try other ways to find out what lies ahead of them. They are greatly interested in discovering their own future.
However, an issue that is often neglected in our time is the kingdom of God and the coming of Jesus Christ just before it. If we read the Bible, we learn that many passages refer to the second coming of Jesus and the kingdom of God that is established after his return. The importance of this matter can be seen in that the New Testament refers to His coming 318 times, while there are only 260 chapters in the New Testament. If we take baptism – which is generally regarded an important issue – as an example, we find altogether only about 20 references about it.
We are going to study this important issue below, and the events preceding it. Naturally, we cannot know the exact date and time. But it is interesting to note that many events occurring now have much in common with the last days described in the Bible, i.e., the period before the coming of Jesus. It seems like prophecies that are hundreds of years old are about to be fulfilled right in front of our eyes, and we do not even see it. Therefore, it is good for us to spend a little time getting acquainted with this topic.

I was reflecting on what you have written and what you say makes perfect sense. If we have to renewed in the mind then it makes sense that where we set our focus everyday will greatly affect our daily experience. Paul gave us his take on this very thing when he said, and I paraphrase I made up my mind to know nothing other than Christ and Him crucified. Before I would only look at this from the aspect of suffering but your posting has made me see it from the love side the integrity side the selfless side of Jesus. The strength of the Spirit and the sheer power of the Love of God which is shed abroad in hearts. All things have truly become new because we are now to able to see things in relation to the cross and it's victory. For without the cross their is no shedding of the blood. No resurrection and no remission of sins. We gain strength from reflecting on the cross because our struggle against sin barely involves bloodshed. Yet: if it did we could still reflect onthe cross and draw strength from the fact that Jesus did not shrink from it's shame and suffering but kept His hope set on the promise of Our Father and the glory He would receive. Thank you so much in Jesus' name for listening to the Spirit and writing this enlightening piece.

One version translates "stand" as "keep standing." I like that because it seems I need to renew my firm stance every day. The enemy makes it very easy and comfortable to slide back into a habit or way of thinking from which Christ has freed me. My freedom is won, but I must stand firm to experience it....not just once, but I must keep standing, until the day He takes me home.

As it says above, When the Lord Clenches his fist against them, they will stumble and fall.

THIS is what I believe may have already happened to me, to my great shock, heartbreak, and surprise.
I sinned seriously, repented, fell again, repented again, and on and on for years, getting worse and worse and not realizing how sinful I was. But from 2008 onward, it really seemed that I was finally growing in the Lord. My prayer life was greatly improving. Then in 2010, while watching sermons on Christian television, I suddenly started feeling condemned by the sermons. Every sermon I would hear, this happened. It got worse and worse and worse. Then catastrophes began to happen in my life, and THEY got worse and worse. For reasons I won't state online, I believe that God may have "reprobated" me as long as 17 years ago, and I never knew it. I am scared to death. I'm praying and praying for Him to recreate a clean heart in me, etc., like in Psalm 51, but things are really, really, REALLY bad.
