Prophecy Being Fulfilled By the Speed of Our Lives and the Increase in Knowledge
You can trace Prophecy in the Bible and see how prophetic it truly is. It is quite amazing when you actually spend the time deciphering and putting together this plan that God has and see how it is being unfolded just as it is told in the bible.
There are very definitive predictions of when the end times will occur and what will be going on when the time is here.
As I have stated on this website many times, I believe we are in those times. I am not saying the world will end today or telling you to pack your house full of supplies, because quite frankly none of that is going to make a difference when the time comes.
Just take a look at the situation in the Gulf with the oil crisis. How do you prepare for that? If your livelihood is fishing, what can you do? Nothing!
What about Haiti and the mighty earthquake back in January of 2010 (it is funny how we say back in January 2010, as so much has happened even since then that many people have moved on), How do you prepare for an earthquake that destroys a whole city with millions and millions of people in it?
So one of my strong beliefs is that we are in the end of times, and there is one scripture in particular I want to look at.
Daniel 12:4 From the living bible…But Daniel, keep this prophecy a secret, seal it up so that it will not be understood until the end times, When travel and education shall be vastly increased!
Daniel 12:4 (New International Version)
4 But you, Daniel, close up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge.”
Daniel 12:4 (New Living Translation)
4 But you, Daniel, keep this prophecy a secret; seal up the book until the time of the end, when many will rush here and there, and knowledge will increase.”
Daniel 12:4 (GOD’S WORD Translation)
4“But you, Daniel, keep these words secret, and seal the book until the end times. Many will travel everywhere, and knowledge will grow.”
This is why when I look at the internet I see the scriptures being fulfilled before our very eyes. You can look at 20 different translations and you will find that just about all of them mention in this verse…Knowledge will increase.
Today with the internet, we have every bit of knowledge and information overload one could ever imagine. It is vast and endless and overwhelming as well. Information and knowledge have greatly increased over the past 20-30 years.
Additionally in some of the translations it mentions travel will be vastly increased. This too is interesting to note as now we can quickly jump on a plane and travel thousands of miles in just a few hours. We can go everywhere in the world very easily.
Even in some of the translations, it says “when many will rush here and there” … How many times today do you hear people talking about how fast life has gotten and the speed at which we are living? There is still the same 24 hours that we have always had, but it sure doesn’t feel that way.
In 2 Timothy 3:7 it says Women of that kind are forever following new teachers, but they never understand the truth.
All this intellect…all this knowledge…
It seems cool and appears to be advancing mankind, but I beg to differ. I see it pulling people away from God and keeping them too busy and too distracted to take the time to worship, love and develop the one relationship that matters in our lives…

What will the future bring? Will the world be better or worse tomorrow and what will our own personal future be like?
These are questions that certainly interest many people. This is why people read horoscopes or try other ways to find out what lies ahead of them. They are greatly interested in discovering their own future.
However, an issue that is often neglected in our time is the kingdom of God and the coming of Jesus Christ just before it. If we read the Bible, we learn that many passages refer to the second coming of Jesus and the kingdom of God that is established after his return. The importance of this matter can be seen in that the New Testament refers to His coming 318 times, while there are only 260 chapters in the New Testament. If we take baptism – which is generally regarded an important issue – as an example, we find altogether only about 20 references about it.
We are going to study this important issue below, and the events preceding it. Naturally, we cannot know the exact date and time. But it is interesting to note that many events occurring now have much in common with the last days described in the Bible, i.e., the period before the coming of Jesus. It seems like prophecies that are hundreds of years old are about to be fulfilled right in front of our eyes, and we do not even see it. Therefore, it is good for us to spend a little time getting acquainted with this topic.
