Bible Prophecy and Endtimes Thoughts
There are 2 life forces present that are pulling on you and your life. On Countless occasions in my own life as well as many discussions with others, there seems to constantly be 2 voices within our bodies that are at war with each other. One wants to destroy you…the other wants to give you life.
In my reading this morning, I was studying bible prophecy and one man’s interpretation of it. It is interesting to note that very few churches I have attended ever mention prophecy or try to explain it. It is a subject matter that most pastors just stay away from for either a lack of understanding or a fear of mis-interpreting the word and driving members out of the church.
Bible prophecy is a very difficult subject matter and also difficult to interpret. Many have tried and also claimed that the end of the world is upon us and even gone as far as to give a date of the end of the world and have been wrong. The results of this mis-leadings have been catestrophic to those who are following these words.
I think this has lead to a time where bible prophecy is simply ingnored in the church, which is a grave mistake to make.
Why?
First off, Not even Jesus knew the date. His disciples asked him directly and he told them that ONLY the father knows. But, having said that, there is a history of the bible that is proven and prophetic in nature. Many things have been predicted and been fulfilled. There can be no question about the coming of the Messiah and the early predictions of this occuring. As we know, these scriptures, some given by Issiah, who came long before Jesus did, have been fulfilled just as the Word of God Explains.
The Word of God is a story of how God is going to redeem the Garden of Eden and return man to the Garden, which was taken away by temptation of the Devil. As you read through the Bible, you see the unfolding of exactly how this is going to happen.

The signs are there for us to follow. There are there to make us, who were once blind, but now can see, to be aware of the future events and to remain HOT for God. Our work is God’s work. Moving closer to God and becoming Christlike is the goal of us as an indivisual. But as a whole, for the entire church of God, We are to all shine brightly for the Glory of the Lord.
Why?
Biblical prophecy states very clearly what is to come. By ignoring this and not talking about it in the church, I believe, and this is strickly my opinion, is that most churches are placating to the nice things that the Lord can do for us, but leaving out the dreadful and horrifying aspects that are going on from the other side. When the time gets here, this earth as we know it is going to go through a pretty rough time. There is actually a 3.5 year period where God will basically pull his hand away from his people and the Anti-Christ will rule, kill, steal, destroy and have his way with people. Many will even turn from God to follow this man who will come under the name of peace and security. The Anti-Christ will appear to perform many miricles and do great things that brings people togehter and also causes people to be amazed at this miracle man. It is a trick and deception that so many will fall victum to.
Persecution of Christians Around The World
If we are close to this point, and I believe that we are (again this is my opinion, you need to read the word of God and come to your own conclusions), Why is the church not warning its people? Why are we not talking more about this?
Because it frightens people. It is scary. It is not fun to talk about. Persecution to me and you will happen and is already happening all over the world. Things are unraveling just as the Bible predicted it would. There can be NO arguement from anyone that there has been a substantial increase in weather events dating back to Katrina. I see Hurricane Katrina as a real turning event weather wise. It was huge, distructive, and was so devasting that New orleans may never be the same again. Then we have had the Sunami which wiped out tens of thousands of people instantly. Then we have the earthquake in Hatai which killed over 200,000 people instantly, and has left the biggest city in Haiti in ruins, to be never again the same. Tornados have increased….All these weather events that continue to pound us at a faster and faster rate, have all been foretold and are part of the coming end times.
