when will the end times happen according to Jesus

Matthew 24 from the living Bible

As Jesus was leaving the temple grounds, his disciples came along and wanted to take him on a tour of the various temple buildings.

But he told them, “All of  these buildings will be knocked down, not one stone left on top of another!”

“When will this happen?”  The disciples asked him, as he sat on the slopes of the Mount of olives.  “Events will signal your return, and the end of the world?”

Jesus told them, “don’t let anyone fool you.  For many will come claiming to be the Messiah and will lead many a stray.  When you hear of wars, this does not signal my return; these must come, but the end is not yet.  The nations and kingdoms of the earth will rise against each other and there will be famines and earthquakes in many places.  But all this will be only the beginning of the horrors to come.

“And you will be tortured and killed and hated all over the world because you are mine, and many of you will fall back into sin and betray and hate each other.  Many false prophets will appear in lead many astray.  And sin will be rampant everywhere and will cool the love of many.  But those enduring to the and shall be saved.

“And the good news about the kingdom will be reached through out the whole world, so that all nations will hear it, and and, finally the end will come.”

I have found this last sentence to be the key of when the end of the world as we know it will occur.  As I continue to work on the word of God online many many nations are now visiting the word of God online.  When Jesus stated that the end of the world and his second coming would not or until every one has had the opportunity to hear the gospel, I believe we are seeing this happen right before our very eyes, and man it is exciting times

So when I look at the stats of who is visiting the word of God online and from what countries, I have to believe that the Internet is the vehicle in which all nations shall hear the word of God.  While I definitely look forward to eternal life with my savior and lord Jesus Christ, I will not just sit around and wait for his coming.  This is not what he called us to do.  As the story goes in the Bible about the 10 women with the lamp’s and the oil, we as Christians, are called to be prepared.

So how do you prepare for the end of the world?  It is going to come like a thief in the night.  No one knows the exact day, not even Jesus.  But he did tell us signs that would occur for us to prepare.  Over the next several days and weeks I will talk about some of the that things that need to occur before his glorious return.

As I have stated on this website many times I strongly feel that the Internet is the vehicle in which the good news will be preached to the whole world.

It’s time to be ready for the return of the Lord.  Many are going to fall away from the Christian faith in these end times. Many will be luke warm and not be prepared.  Many, as the women were asked to have oil for their lamps, will be unprepared.  This makes me very sad, knowing that many people I know, including family members, are going to endure incredibly difficult times in these final days.

No one is going to be forced to know God and accept Jesus as their savior.  But I guarantee, that every one will be exposed to the Word of God and have the opportunity to come to know Jesus.  It will be a choice you and I have to make.  In these final days, sides will be drawn.  You will have to choose which side you are going to be on.
