Yes! Christ has set us free. In Christ we have the power…supernatural power instilled in us to resist the ills of temptations set before us.

One version translates “stand” as “keep standing.” I like that because it seems I need to renew my firm stance every day. The enemy makes it very easy and comfortable to slide back into a habit or way of thinking from which Christ has freed me. My freedom is won, but I must stand firm to experience it….not just once, but I must keep standing, until the day He takes me home.
