This will be an ongoing description of who god is, what are his titles and names….There are alot of them so this will be an ongoing category with LOTS to share..

Deuteronomy 32:4 Describes God..
He is the Rock, His work is perfect; For all his ways are justice, A God of Truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright is He.
Our Small group at our home has been studying and working through the workbook called Experiencing God by Henry T Blackaby. This workbook is a wonderful way to see how practical our God is and how you can put your Christian faith to action.
This morning I was working on one of the Units and came across a song in the workbook. Through this experience, there were several songs written for and through Experiencing God.
These words of the song are amazing and today I want to share them with you.

Today is March 2, 2008..
Today is Easter…
Today we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, our King and our Savior.
It was this day,3 days after Christ was crucified that he said he would rise. This day he defeated Satan, he defeated sin and he defeated death. The old ways of the Old testement were broken and a new way to fellowship with God ushered in the very moment that Jesus rose.
Everything about the Christian faith rides on this one moment.
Christ came to earth and experienced all the worst and best that man had to offer. He experienced it for you and me. Christ took all the sin of the world with him to the cross.
This opened up a path to God that was not there before. Now we can come as we all are…sinners…and come to the cross and lay it all down at the foot of Jesus.
This moment in history is the greatest moment for all humanity. It is for everyone. Everyone has equal access to the Power of the risen Christ. All that is asked is that you believe.
So do you?
Do you believe that Christ died and rose again on the 3rd day?
Do you believe the Easter Story as it is told?
Have you accepted Christ as your personal savior?

Today, as many of my days was filled with work and some march madness as well.
Then around 6:30 I headed off to church for our Good Friday service. This week has been a VERY busy week, I haven’t posted at all this whole week on the word of god online…Busyness has set in and my work has increased alot.
I have been asking God to bless me indeed as did Jabez in the Prayer of Jabez. And God has answered the prayer and my territory has increased alot over the last 3 months.
With this, the last 2 weeks I have has less time for prayer and worship…Today was another day with NOT enough time…Time…
But church was AMAZING and a great time for reflection on the meaning of this very special day. This day in the Christian life, we recognized this day and it is called Good Friday. Good Friday, the day that Jesus went to and was brought to the cross and bore all of our sins and inequities. He was whipped and scourged and carried his cross for you and me…So we could get beyond the laws that bound us …

There is so many that are captive to the chains and bondage of this world. It is very sad when you really open your eyes and look close at all the bondage that sin can have in your life. Cigarettes for a long time had a strong hold in my life. I am asthmatic and I still smoked…how smart was that?
God had delivered me from many of my issues through a continual asking. He has been very faithful to remove the desires. Thank God that my lungs are OK…I still have asthma but I my lungs are amazingly in good shape all things considered.
For a couple of weeks we have been really focused on our teens at church and praying over them. Today the schools are filled with lost teens who have grown up in a generation where God is not the focal point of the home. As a matter of fact, this is really the first generation where God is not in the home of many of our teens.
These teens (I have 2) are often falling into the traps of addiction, lust and profanity at a very early age. The whole issue of cutting was really foreign to me until the last year or so. Personally I have a real hard time fully understanding why someone wants to cut themselves. But it is not about me.
Teens are having sex casually and openly at a time that they are trying to figure out who they are. Today sex is just sex…for many it holds the same meaning as talking about American Idol amongst their friends. Swearing is part of the culture and my teens on any given day are subjected to 200 F bombs at school. Drugs are also everywhere and most are experiencing them or are becoming addicted to them.
All Christians need to stand and pray for our teens. There are serious issues at play here and I know many of you would argue that this is just a generational thing. But NOT this time….there are forces at play here that are trying to destroy our teens.
They need to hear the message of Jesus and be taught who and what Jesus did for each of us
We need to help them to become FREE from all of the issues they face.
Jesus Came to bring back to what was given up in the Garden of Eden.
Romans 5:12 When Adam sinned, sin entered the entire human race. His sin spread death throughout all the world, so everything began to grow old and die, for all sinned.
We have a choice to make…the way of the world or the way of Jesus..
Romans 8:13 For if you keep on following it (the world) you are lost and will perish, but if through the power of the Holy Spirit you crush it and its evil deeds, you shall live…
John 3:16 For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son so that anyone who believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Galatians 5:1 So Christ has made us free. Now make sure that you stay free and don't get all tied up again in the chains of slavery to Jewish laws and ceremonies..
Colossians 1:20 It was through what his Son did that God cleared a path for everything to come to him—all things in heaven and on earth—for Christ's death on the cross has made peace with God for all by his blood. This includes you who were once so far away from God.
What A Gift from God!
Do you see what he has done? This is truely the most glorious news and story that continues to be told and will be told for all times.
We all need to REALLY understand what Jesus REALLY did on the cross and be Energized by this…It is not enough for us to just be touched. We need to soak and be immersed in the life of God. There is great strength that is available through your relationship with Jesus. God has loosed in heaven and through his Son, made available to all of us the POWER Of Christ through the Holy Spirit and a personal relationship with Jesus.
Put God First in all you do…invite him in your day and get out of the way 
Jesus, a man among man…the living GOD here on earth…..The son of God…Endowed with all the power of God and given the eyes of the human flesh.
Jesus came to restore that which Satan came to steal….YOU!!!!
Jesus rose from the Grave and conquered Death…FOR YOU!
Jesus Loves you…He came to set you FREE…Free from the chains that bind you. Free from addictions, free from all that looks to rob and steal from you..
You can be completely free…look at what Christ did for you and give yourself to him wholly…Offer your life up as a living sacrifice for Jesus
It is funny to think of those two…but in a day where here in the US we are seeming to work more and more as we try to keep up…We need to step back and think about what it is we are keeping up with?
I work from home and the work I do is internet based and quite frankly I could work 24/7 and never get it all done…it is the nature of my work and it seems the deeper I press into my online work, the more I can find myself on work overload.
Is that what God wants for us?
I think he would rather see us in WORD OVERLOAD…
Which do you pick?
I know that when I start my day first with God, and give him time and talk and reading of his word, my day just naturally goes better. It is hard to explain, but I am more at peace. When I remember to invite God into my day and throughout the day. My day goes SO MUCH better.
Just yesterday, I started my day by opening up my laptop with the intention of putting on some praise music. Instead I opened up my email and ..BANG….Problems slammed me in the face as there were a number of emails that "required" (Ha) my immediate attention.
I never got my head in the word and spent time with God yesterday morning and quite frankly I was under the sense of stress creeping in all day long right up until 6;30 pm est…At that time, I went out to dinner with my small group church family and BOY did I need it and was I glad to be out of the umbrella of my work day and in the presence of members of my church and wonderful loving Godly people.
Instantly all the cares and stress melted away and I had a really nice time…Thank you Lord…
Help me lord to be a person who is looking to be WORD Overloaded with your wonderful words of wisdom. Help me to daily pick up the word of god and make it my starting point to include you into my day. And help me to see what you have in store for me. Put me into your river where you want me to be. Bless my work and my hands and help me to walk in love. And father, help those that may be reading this to see the goodness you have in store for them if they will just give you their first and best part of the day.
